The primary line of defense in water treatment. Multi Media Filter uses graded layers of natural media (Sand, Glass, or Quartz) to remove physical turbidity, dirt, and suspended matter from raw water.
Highly durable, low-cost solution requiring zero maintenance beyond simple backwashing.
Shields expensive equipment (UF/RO) from fouling and physical particle damage.
Water flows through high-grade Quartz sand, activated carbon, or glass media layers.
Each graded layer captures progressively smaller particles as water travels deeper into the bed.
Reverses the flow to lift the bed and flush out trapped debris, resetting the media's efficiency.
As a macro-filter, it cannot remove dissolved pollutants, bacteria, or reduce TDS.
Does not address water hardness. A softener is required if scale reduction is a goal.
